We have Victor Wembanyama highlights
This was supposed to be a season full of highlights of the outrageously talented Victor Wembanyama. Unfortunately he has suffered through some injury concerns so far this season. But … we are starting to see him produce. And of course, any production means beauty! Btw … how vicious was that last dunk!
Lofton shining big time
One of the revelations from the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2021 was Kenneth Lofton Jr. from the United States team. The big man was fantastic especially with his efficiency. He hasn’t slowed down at all for Louisana Tech this season. Within a week, he collected 36 points and 18 rebounds in one game and 31 and 14 in another - combining for 27-of-45 from the field and 13-of-16 from the line.
London (Johnson) calling
If you have been following the TTC substack the last couple of days you have seen the updates on the FIBA Centrobasket U17 Championship 2021 - and seen that London Johnson has been amazing so far for Jamaica. He scored 40 points in both games thus far, hitting 26-of-43 from the field (60.5%) including 4-of-8 from long range as well as 24-of-29 free throws (82.8%) while also averaging 8.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 5.5 steals in 74 of 80 minutes. Here a couple of highlights.
2021-22 BCL Americas season about to tip off
The third season of the Basketball Champions League Americas is tipping off today - December 10. If you want to catch up on everything you need to know about the first window and who are some of the players to watch, the event website has you covered.
Second Basketball Africa League to tip off in March 2022
The second season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) will tip off on Saturday March 5, 2022 in Dakar, Senegal, the league announced.
The second BAL season will include 15 games in Dakar from March 5-15, 15 games in Cairo, Egypt from April 9-19, and an eight-game Playoffs and Finals in Kigali, Rwanda from May 21-28.
