Jünemann: "I found a good fit with Göttingen"

Janis Jünemann experienced quite a first season as a professional basketball player - seeing two coaching changes, a number of player moves - one which drastically changed his fortunes - and am exhaustive number of losses.
In the end, the BG Göttingen big man never doubted for a second the best move for him for next season was to move to ProA with the team.
Jünemann, who celebrated his 20th birthday on June 3, had options for 2025-26 - signing with another BBL club or even joining the mass exodus of young Germans to NCAA basketball in the United States. Instead, he adjusted his contract to allow for a move to the ProA.
