1:50 - Story we are watching - Now that the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague has been competed - congrats to Anadolu Efes Istanbul for winning back-to-back titles - the European basketball world is looking at the organizers to determine which clubs will compete in which competition: EuroLeague, 7DAYS EuroCup or Basketball Champions League.
4:05 - Young player of the week - Victor Wembanyama has not been included in France’s roster for the summer FIBA window and the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers. Maybe they want to give him a rest after a long first season as a leading player with a pro team. But I would be shocked if he’s not in the France team for FIBA EuroBasket 2023.
5:30 - Up-coming event we are watching - The NBA Playoffs are starting to get to the end of the season - the Eastern Conference Finals are deadlocked at 2-2 between Miami and Boston while Golden State have a 3-1 lead over Dallas in the West.
