Man oh man … what a week of hoops. The Susanoo Magic are rolling in the Japanese B.League. CSKA Moscow beat Maccabi Tel Aviv in a big Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game in Russia and Valencia Basket may have found some calm in the 7DAYS EuroCup. Sorry, we couldn’t record a Basketball Champions League podcast this week. We’ll be back next week!
Japanese B.League Rounds 12/13/14 review
The TTC Gone Traveling talks to FIBA's Enzo Flojo about Rounds 12, 13 and 14 action in the Japanese B.League. The Susanoo Magic are still rolling and nearly extended their winning streak to seven games. Chiba Jets bounced back from a bad loss to a double-header sweep. The Ryukyu Golden Kings are still in first place despite losing a game to the Crane Thunder.
Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 9 review
The TTC Gone Traveling show reviews Round 9 action of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Moshe Barda of the EuroLeague Sweet 16 podcast. CSKA Moscow narrowly avoid a historic four-game losing streak in beating Maccabi Tel Aviv, who can also be happy with the loss. Nothing happy in Fenerbahce Istanbul land after getting beaten down by AX Armani Exchange Milan. And then we look at Zenit St Petersburg beating Olympiacos Piraeus.
7DAYS EuroCup Round 4 review
The TTC Gone Traveling show takes a look at the top action from Round 4 of the 7Days EuroCup with Antigoni Zachari of EuroHoops.net. Things may finally be quieting down at Valencia Basket after coming back to beat Virtus Bologna. Also this week, MoraBanc Andorra hand Partizan Belgrade their first loss of the season and ratiopharm ulm lose a 21-point lead but beat Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana in double overtime.
