EuroLeague Rounds 27/28
The TTC Gone Traveling show reviews Rounds 27 and 28 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Moshe Barda of the EuroLeague Sweet 16 podcast. It's hard to talk about basketball with the turmoil going on in Ukraine but we look at what impact the war in Ukraine is having on the EuroLeague. We talk about Anadolu Efes Istanbul's big last two rounds. Another major topic is the two formats for the standings if the three Russian teams are expelled for the rest of the season - and who the winners and losers are. And of course we look ahead to the next round of action - and the two big games - Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade vs Maccabi Tel Aviv and AS Monaco vs Efes.
Japanese BLeague action March 2-6
The TTC Gone Traveling talks to FIBA's Enzo Flojo about the Japanese B.League action from March 2-6. This week, the Link Tochigi Brex win two big games as do the Akita Northern Happinets. The Hiroshima Dragonflies, Sea Horses Mikawa, Shiman Susanoo Magic and Kawaski Brave Thunders all were only able to get splits. Another topic is the Chiba Jets only having played 27 games while some teams already have 38 games this season. We also look ahead to two tantalizing match-ups next Wednesday March 9: Chiba vs Brex and Dragonflies vs Ryuku Golden Kings.
